Mandatory Documents for F1 Visa Interview Below are the mandatory documents that are required as per guidance from the US Consulate.
Nonimmigrant Visa Online Application (DS-160 Form) Confirmation
Visa Interview Appointment Confirmation Letter
Valid Passport (at least 6 months validity after your program end date)
Passport Photo with dimensions of 2x2 inch (51x51mm). Check Photo Requirements
Original I-20 from the University that you plan to attend
SEVIS Fee Receipt
Visa Interview Fee Payment Receipt (MRV Fee Receipt )
F1 Visa Interview Supporting Documents Below is the list of supporting documents that you can carry to show to the visa officer, if they ask for additional documentation.
Academics Certificates, Letters, Test Scores Bachelor's Degree Original Certificate
Provisional Degree Certificate (if final degree is not yet awarded)
Original Consolidated Mark Sheets of your Bachelors degree
Masters Degree Original Certificate (if applicable)
10th Class, 11th and 12th Class ( Intermediate) Original Marks Certificates
Letter of Admission from the University that you plan to attend
Financial Aid or Scholarship award letter from University (if applicable)
Test Scores Originals for GRE, TOEFL, GMAT, SAT ( as applicable)
Supporting Financial Documents Bank Statements and Letter from Sponsor’s Bank account with proof of funds
(if applicable) Loan approval letter for payment of university fee.
Proof of Income of Sponsor like Salary Slips, or Business revenue in form of bank statements.
(if using Fixed Deposits, etc.) Copies of the FDs and others
(if applicable) if you have property and assets, CA Assessment of funds, property, original copy of the same.
(if applicable) if your sponsors or family are having any business or assets copies of the same to show the ties to come back.
(if applicable) Investments details like Stocks, Mutual funds, etc. statements.
Extracurricular, Previous Work Experience, Profile (if any) Extra Curricular certificates that you used for scholarship or admission
